Default Fried Deer question ahead

After sitting around Thanksgivng marveling over the fried turkey, someone
wondered if it were possible to deep fry a portion of deer meat outside in a
turkey fryer. Has anyone ever done this and if so how did it turn out?

Lean beef seems ok when we fondue in oil but I'd never dare move off the
