Posted this request once for making Tirmasui, Calypso Island vanilla
flavored Rum, and Ponche Kuba. Can't find that posting. Recently found, in the US, Ponche Caribe which is the same product as Ponche Kuba. Still looking for more home recipes for Calypso Island vanilla flavored Rum. Have not tried Jennifer Harris' spiced rum recipe =E2=80=A2 2 cups light (white) rum =E2=80=A2 2 tsp pure vanilla extract =E2=80=A2 1/2 cup sugar syrup By experimenting, a reasonable imitation of Tirmasui(Italian) is to use imported from Mexico, Kamora Coffee Liqueur and add only water, ie 1 part Kamora =E2=85=93 part water Result is close enough for me. Will try making the coffee liquor from scratch next. Geneo |
