Default Dead banana cookies

Thank you, Stan, Barb and others who answered my question about recipe
archives. Found lots of cookie recipes to make with grandson.

One we used called for bananas, dates and oatmeal. Had some VERY
over-ripe bananas on hand (skin mostly dark) so we made a batch.
Grandson calls over-ripe bananas "dead," so the cookies were renamed.
I like his name for them better.

Also made rum balls, which are made with cookie crumbs. They became
"crumb balls."

Cooking with a kid--especially a boy kid--can be a lot of fun.

Hello to Squeaks and Rosie, too. Nice to hear from you.
Happy New Year, everyone!

Martha
