I bought myself a sweatshirt on Dec 23rd (I went to a store looking for a
pennant for my dad's grave.....which I didn't find there). It's "just" a
team shirt, nothing about the World Series and no player name on the back.
Still...I wore it out of the store and as outerwear all day yesterday on
errands! I LOVE it! Bright red....Red Sox in their logo font on front.
It's a replica of what the guys wore in the dugout.

Am going back tomorrow for a Johhny Damon t-shirt. I think that's the one I
want. I love them all...it's so hard to chose! But I am partial to #18, so I
think that's the one I'll get. We were watching tv news last night and they
showed news of Jason Varitek's signing and I actually squealed when they
showed him. I was in a house full of non-sports fans, so they were a bit
taken aback by my reaction.

I still don't believe it. That's why I wanted the dvd.
Proof for all eternity that it really actually happened!!!

If Dad had been alive this year, between the souvenir crap I'd have bought
him and the souvenir crap he'd have bought me, we'd have accumulated all of
it between us!!!! And of course, we'd share. Oh well.

This one wasn't too bad... $300ish (anecdotal evidence here)
on sale. It's high definition, so the picture quality is
absolutely fabulous!

I wasn't convinced about HDTV, but now I am.
