Contact the manufacturer, they may explain the procedure, or not... sometimes it requires a service tech. ---= BOYCOTT FRANCE (belgium) GERMANY--SPAIN =--- ---= Move UNITED NATIONS To Paris =--- ********* "Life would be devoid of all meaning were it without tribulation." You'll need a decent digital probe thermometer to attack that question. I have a couple and they agree within about 1 degree F. However, my oven peaks way over the set temp when the temp warning first sounds. After about 20 minutes more, it's within a couple of degrees of the probe thermometers. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the air goes way over the set temp before the oven walls catch up and every thing stabillizes. You shouldn't be off by the amount you state. I'd search for the name of the mfg of the thermocouple that controls your oven and then jump on their website (if possible) and see what they say. Robert Shaw is a popular control. (http://www.robertshaw.com/). You'll need to locate yours and get the name off of the part itself. -- Brick(DL5BF, WA7ERO, HS4ADI) ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
