Default How to correct the temperature in an oven

Can this be done? I have two oven thermometers. One says 300deg, the other
about 310 deg. Meanwhile the oven( a digital) is set on 375deg.

I know in my old range it was a screw type
adjustment. Do you have a manual? Check out DIY
online.

With electrnic controls you will need the code. Contact the manufacturer, they
may explain the procedure, or not... sometimes it requires a service tech.

You'll need a decent digital probe thermometer to attack that question.
I have a couple and they agree within about 1 degree F. However, my
oven peaks way over the set temp when the temp warning first sounds.
After about 20 minutes more, it's within a couple of degrees of the probe
thermometers. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the air
goes way over the set temp before the oven walls catch up and every
thing stabillizes. You shouldn't be off by the amount you state. I'd search
for the name of the mfg of the thermocouple that controls your oven and
then jump on their website (if possible) and see what they say. Robert
Shaw is a popular control. (http://www.robertshaw.com/). You'll need to
locate yours and get the name off of the part itself.
