Sounds yummy. According to the "per serving" nutritional information at the
bottom of the recipes, one frosted slice of this cake has 6138 calories, 252
grams of fat, and 946 grams of carbs. I got this result by adding the two
numbers. I have no personal objections, but I'm just verifying. ?

Thanks

That's because no number of servings was provided. The figures you've
quoted are for the whole cake. MasterCook scares a lot of people that way.
LOL! Your mileage will vary, based on how many slices you, personally,
cut the pie into. ( I know, bad grammar).

ack! my mother used to make this cake/frosting. I loved it, but she's in a
home now and lost all her recipes. This is great, thanks damsel.

Wow. I am so happy to have given you back a piece of your past, so you can
carry it on into your present and future. Enjoy the cake.

This cake sounds great. Is it actually 3900 calories PER SERVING? How big
are the slices? Just curious.

With MasterCook, if you don't specify the number of servings, it gives the
calories for the entire dish. Since I don't know how many slices people
will cut the cake into, I can't hazard a guess on that. Just take the
number of pieces you use, and do some long division.
