Default Hungarian soup on Amazing Race

Anyone catch the HOT (spicy) soup contestants on The Amazing Race had
to eat? Man, it looked really good!

Anyone know of any recipes for this type of soup? It was very red in
color and obviously very spicy hot. I would love to try making it.

Thanks!

Looked like cabbage sour soup with a hell of a lot of paprika in it.
They kept talking about paprika. There are sweet and hot types.
I had no curiosity about ever trying it.

Could have been Goulash Soup. It is the most popular Hungarian soup
and can b quite spicy, if you use hot Paprika.
