Default Adoption Dream, Please help with $1

We are a happily married and loving 30 and 27 year old husband and wife
living in NW Indiana. Our dream is to adopt a child, but we have not
been able to due to the incredible and unforseen expenses.

Currently, we have a small savings or as we call it "Adoption Fund" but
we need so much more to even get the process started. We are realizing
that adoption travel expenses and taking time off work for adoption
related issues would exhaust most of our current "adoption fund".

Please help our dream come true by sending a gift of a $1.00 bill to:

Ben & Catie Rose
PO Box 497
Knox, IN 46534

To prevent theft, please wrap your one dollar bill in a sheet of paper.
Also, any advice, suggestions, stories or tips you would like to share
with us would be greatly appreciated!

We are only at the very beginning of our journey and we THANK YOU SO
MUCH for helping make this dream possible.
Thank you again and God bless you!

Ben and Catie

First, forget adopting a baby in america. Legal fees run about
$50.000.oo.

You can get a baby from Russia or China for only about $10,000.oo.

You can probably put all your travel expenses on the visa card and pay
it off slowly. Chinese girl babies are often MUCH cheaper than russian
orphans.

I wish I was kidding about this, but I'm not. I've checked into it.

Good luck!

Oh, BTW, if you cannot afford to adopt a baby, you probably cannot
afford to raise one, so wait until you are more solvent.

Dunno where you got that idea. Our legal fees were $1200.

Where? International adoption runs closer to 15K, minimum, without
travel fees.

Yum, yeah, right.

Not very well.

That's the only correct statement you've made.

I'm willing to listen...
I talked to a couple of women at work that were adopting babies.
They got together and went to Russia.

Their legal fees were 10K, but this was about 5 years ago.

Personally, I'd LOVE to have a couple of chinese girls!
As a general rule, chinese are highly intelligent.
And many, many chinese baby girls die in the black market network.
It's very sad.

Ok, so explain the process.
I'm willing to listen.

What race was your baby?

There are couples that get Mexican orphans here very cheap.

raising a child is not exactly cheap either and if you have to work day and
night your excitement about the child might cease soon. perhaps you can do
some good to your friends children instead of struggling to get an adopted
and then to raise that.
good luck.

No thanks... but if you'd like to send me a $100 bill I'd be happy to accept
it. You could take it from your adoption fund since you obviously can't
afford to raise a child.

I have some advice. Stop grubbing money from others. I know it is
expensive, we adopted two children and yes, it cost a lot of money. See
your banker.

True enough, but I suspect that these people have no interest in adopting a
child. What sort of losers begs for money to adopt a child. I suspect that the
only motive here is to suck gullible people into sending them money. This is
just one of many internet beg scams.

Raising children is filled with incredible,
unforseen expenses and it doesn't end at age
18 or 21.

yes guess you are right.. especially since this doesn't seem to be the forum

Probably a scam to get gullible people to send them money. If they can't
afford the adoption related costs how are they able to afford the costs
of raising a child? I say send them a dollar in monopoly money - or a
photocopy of a real dollar - with no return address of course.
