Okay, okay... I knew I wouldn't hear the end of this until I dredged
something up. I just scanned two pictures from two years ago, the very last
snaps of me. Okay, so I was 58 at the time, but I'm not planning on a 60
y.o. portrait!

Now go look at the pictures of me and our kitties.

Is Millie a Maine Coon? I had one for 15 years and miss him every day.

Perhaps she has some Maine Coon genes, but she much too small to be a real
Maine Coon. She only weighs 8-1/2 pounds. She's also a bobtail, having
about a 1-1/2 inch stub. She's a real sweetheart lap cat!

Wayne, you look ever as nice as your postings, a happy man! From something
I recall many moons ago, I thought you might be a heavy-weight - you know,
really, really, big from eating all your heavy pies and cakes that you are
so knowledgeable about and helping others. The results of helping others
shows on your smiling face.
Happy Birthday, and many more!
Dee

Thank you for such kind thoughts, Dee! I do have a few extra pounds, but I
try not to let it get out of control. I've made a few visits to Weight
Watchers now and again...the regimen helps when I need it.

Thanks, again...

Your kitties look just like mine (and you don't look a day over 40! - so
hush!).

Here are my "kids"... http://www.geocities.com/kilikini1/kitties and
http://www.geocities.com/kilikini1/morepix

They're only 5 months and are getting spayed and neutered in 1 week from
today!

They are gorgeous! They do look alike. Mine are different in that one is
a complete bobtail (like a manx) and the other has only a 2-3 inch stub
tail.

We adopted our two kittens when they were 4 months old, and have now had
them for 4 months. They had already been neutered when we got them.

Adorable! My baby Rio is a combination of Mr. Bailey and
Tyrone. Unfortunately, he's trying to escape the house
already (he's around your babies age).

LOL! I thought my Kingston was the only bobtailed cat

That's so cute! We actually have three bobtails. Millie is also a bobtail,
and she pretends that she doesn't have a tail at all. She hates if you touch
it, but I don't know why. PeeWee struts around with his sticking straight up
in the air. Mrbailey is the only one of ours who has a legitimate tail, and
he seems to be quite proud of it. The two kittens love to play with his
tail.

The only thing I can think of is hypersensitivity (nerve
endings) in her tail.

When we got Rio, the "pet experts" told us that a tail
straight up means they are happy... well, when I reach down
to pet Rio, his tail goes straight up and it stays up. If I
did't know that it meant he was happy, I'd take it for self
defense ala skunks. LOL

Re-read "Hop on Pop" someday soon. Yes, stop by your local
library's children's section and read why I just snickered.
