Default dried citrus

I discovered something by accident this week. I peeled an orange and a
grapefruit, segmented them, and then forgot about them and left them out
on the counter overnight. The next day they were *wonderful.* Dried and
crispy on the outside, kind of like parchment, yet soft and flavorful on
the inside. A great snack. I've seen of course many dried fruits, but
never citrus like this. Anyone else? I'm gonna peel a couple more and
stick them in the dehyrator tonight. I might even stop for a lime on the
way home.
