Default Recipe Thief Sent to Prison

A North Carolina baker, Mazen Fathi Said, was sent to prison for two
years after a conviction for stealing two books containing bread and
roll recipes from a rival baking company.

It was alleged that the recipes stolen from the Morabito Baking Co.
were trade secrets with a value worth $30 million. Morabito
distributes its baked goods in 28 states and is a far bigger operation
than Said's bakery

Said, an Israeli national, has been a legal resident of the U.S. for
more than 10 years, He maintained that the charges were the result of
a conspiracy against him as a successful foreigner in the wake of
9/11.

Israeli, huh? Reminded me of this:

"The Israelis stole my land and my country, now they are even stealing our
recipes," Palestinian delegate Mohammed Kebal complained to reporters. "The
hand of Mossad is at work here. We will never take part in the contest
again."

Huh. It's not even that the recipe was alleged to have been copied, but
that the Israeli's even dared to *make* couscous.
