Mississippi Mud

1-2-3
When the sun goes down and the tide rolls out
and the people gather 'round and they all begin to shout
"Hey! Hey! Uncle Dud
it's a treat to beat your feet on the Mississippi Mud
it's a treat to beat your feet on the Mississippi Mud"

What a dance do they do
glory how I'm tellin' you
they don't need no band
they keep time by clappin' their hands
just happy as a cow chewin' on a cud
it's a treat to beat your feet on the Mississippi Mud
it's a treat to beat your feet on the Mississippi Mud

The Earth is degenerating these days. Bribery and corruption abound.
Children no longer mind their parents, every man wants to write a
Book, and it is evident that the end of the world is fast approaching.

Thank you... :-)

It seems that as a new poster, I jumped into the list with both feet firmly
implanted into my mouth, and am embarrassed at my position. I have respect
for the people on it, and apologize for any offense. The song contains two
food references chewin' on cud, and Mississippi Mud (cake?). The imagery
triggers my sense if humor. I am not a professional chef, nor do I have a
PHD in anything.

"In life, the garden is bountiful. It Is the paths we take through it that
lead us astray".....I just wrote that, feel free to use it.
