Well, go ask her what she REALLY said. I'll wait right here.

I hope that was a speech defect, and that she didn't really tell you to fly
a cat. If she did, you're raising weird kids.

No, she used another term; that was my translation because I'd already
forgotten what she used. Slang is like their clothing; recycled with the
really bad done to death.

What does this say about the future of humankind?

Nice model of a DNA strand. I must say that I'm impressed!

I did! She told me to go fly a "cat." I'm not sure, exactly how I'm
supposed to do that either.

I'm hiding from people who sell magazine, aluminum siding, replacement
windows, investment opportunities, insurance, long-distance phone plans, and
so on. Also, you would be surprised at how many strangers with aches and
pains will call you at home in the middle of the night if they think they
can get you to write a prescription for them, preferably for narcotics.

Ah, anonymous call rejection. Had it when I was a Verizon subscriber and
miss it now that I'm using Vonage.

I'm getting ready to install Asterisk PBX on a linux box I'm putting
together. Apparently it works well with Vonage. What I plan to do is use
the Asterisk box as the front end to the phones in the house. That way I
can use distinct ring for certain numbers that come in, and others can
just go into voicemail hell or have the connection dropped.
