Default Pitta Bread Grilled Pizza Substitutes

It was late. I wanted a pizza, for one, and snappy.

PITTA BREAD GRILLED PIZZA SUBSTITUTES
===== ===== ======= ===== ===========

One wholemeal pitta bread
The last big glob from a jar of red pesto
Cheddar cheese
A good blob of sour cream and chive dip[*]

I cut the pitta in two in that special way you can, then, toasted the
two pieces. I browned the thinner piece and used that as a
rudimentary appetizer, munching it as i prepared the rest of the dish,
as I hear that's best for the digestion, to kickstart the process with
something small.

Once the larger piece of pitta was browned on the outer side, I spread
the pesto liberally over its soft inner underbelly. I then arranged
the cheddar pieces evenly and returned the concoction to the grill,
pausing only to add a little pepper.

Once the cheese had bubbled slightly and it became clear that the
delicious smelling smorgasbord was ready, I retrieved the P.B.G.P.S.
from the intense heat of the grill and --and here's the important
part-- spread sour cream and chive dip on top!

The resulting taste explosion lasted a good hour.

[*]SOUR CREAM AND CHIVE DIP
==== ===== === ===== ===

Sour cream
Chives

Chop chives. Place chives in sour cream. Stir.

You have created sour cream and chive dip. Perfect accompaniment to a
multitude of dishes. Your life is near complete.
