Hi Damsel, I know you didn't originate this recipe, but using marinated
Artichoke Hearts in this recipe sounds horrible! Here, try this recipe, it's my Aun'ts, Evelyn Lewin (Last name of her's is through marriage, she's Italian) She originated the recipe I understand, and her name's in the official cookbook on this one. Artichoke Dip: 1 Can Artichoke Hearts (Chopped) 1/2 Cup Sour Cream 1/2 Cup Mayonaisse 8 oz Cream Cheese 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (Or Romano) 1/3 Tsp Garlic Powder Mix Ingredients Together and Bake at 350 for 20-30 Minutes |

... > Artichoke Dip Ingredients (cost and merchant): 8 oz cream cheese (Gene's, US$2.25) 12 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese (Gene's, US$4.43) 1 cup mayonnaise (Gene's, US$2.89) 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (TJ, US$3.99) 1 onion -- finely chopped (Gene's, US$0.23) 2 cloves garlic -- finely chopped (N/A) 2 small jars marinated artichoke hearts (Gene's, US$4.98) "High-end" ingredients we "Shredded" mozzarella; I splurged for "craft-made" miniballs by a local producer that supplies Gene's. It forced me to shred it in my Cuisinart. Cara Mia marinated artichoke hearts. SWMBO won't eat anything less. Parmesan cheese; I guess you could call this ingredient "high-end," too, since I don't use that green-packaged tube stuff. As I said earlier; I never got a chance to eat any because the gloms that were near it never shared the bowl. My lot in Real Life®; simple suffering. I'll just have to make it again. The Ranger |
