We *love* it here. It's soooo much nicer than Sugar Land (where we moved from). And it's grown and developed so much in the 12 years that have passed since I last lived here. Tons of shopping and great restaurants of all types of cuisines (they just opened a Mi Luna up here and are about to open a Grotto). And the walking/biking trails that wind all through The Woodlands and all the many, many great parks are just awesome. I have a two-year-old, so we've really been enjoying all the many things available here for kiddos (they've recently opened a Children's Museum up here that's supposed to be pretty good). With all that's here, we hardly ever need to go down into Houston (except maybe to go to the Village or to the zoo). I think you'd really like it here, too, Chris! ![]() look at some homes up here. We're now 36 miles from work, and I expect that we'll probably move closer to the city before it's over. I do miss the raw desert we enjoyed down in Queen Creek, however. BTW, I was born in Long Beach, CA, but my family moved to the midwest before I was walking. Still, I'm a native Californian. Looks like we traded places! <g> Wayne |
