I am in a time crunch. I started this recipie today in my crock pot but
it says I need to cook the chicken for 8-10 hours then the noodles another 45. I need to shave about three hours off this cook time. Can I use the high setting on my crock pot? If so for how long and should I add any water or anything? Thanks - In A Crunch Here is the recipie I am using. http://crockpot.cdkitchen.com/recipe...rint=1&scale=6 |

I've found no problem in switching between High and Low Crock-Pot
settings at a rate of 1:2. That is, any combination seems to yield the same results.... so, for your 8-10 hour (low) cooking, you can do it on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 hours, or two hours high and 4 low, or 1 high and 6 low. Just be sure to remember to flip the switch when it's time to. Scrooge |
