Default Velveeta Popcorn

Some earlier postings about popcorn mentioned making a popcorn
topping with Velveeta cheese and butter. Would someone please
post a recipe and method if possible. I missed out on the earlier
discussion.

Thanks,

Rod

Hadn't considered that, but I like to grate Asiago over the hot popcorn.

While I personally protest the gooeyness (sp) of Velveeta on popcorn, I have
been served popcorn that had been tossed with dry crumbled blue cheese. It
was quite good.

Gooey Velveeta Cheesefood Popcorn ;-)

1 bag popped, light or fat-free butter flavored popcorn
2 Tablespoons Butter
1/2 to 1 inch Slab of Velveeta cut into chunks

1. Place popped popcorn in large bowl.
2. Heat butter and velveeta in microwave until melted. Stir until
mixed and creamy.
3. Pour hot mixture in a thin stream on to popcorn and stir with a
fork until all kernels are covered. Scrape bowl and stir remaining
mixture into popcorn. Stir well.
4. Add salt to taste.
5. Serve while still warm.
