At one point Fat City was apparently a hot spot for night life. Fat City was considered a sort of Bourbon Street of the suburbs. There isn't much going on in Fat City these days, though one of the better restaurants in the greater New Orleans area (Dragos) is in Fat City. -Mike |

Aside from being some of the places mentioned by others here, Fat City is a state of mind where all your needs and wants are satisfied. Got your tax refund? You're in fat City. Got a promotion and raise? Fat City. |
