Default Great grains

There is an interesting article on rice in the N/A April issue of Vogue.
Get it while it's still on the stands...

The article is by Jeffrey Steingarten, Vogue's food writer. I usually
go to the local library and photocopy his articles, which appear every
other month. This article on rice is interesting, but not one of his
best: I had the sense he fell asleep and ended the article at that
point. :-)

BTW, he has two books published, each a collection of articles. Those
articles are much better and display his wit.

HA! Reminds me of this:

All too often, the budding author finds that his tale has run its
course and yet he sees no way to satisfactorily end it, or, in literary
parlance, "wrap it up." Observe how easily I resolve this problem:

Suddenly, everyone was run over by a truck.
-the end-

For some reason, you reminded me of the old adage that: "There are
only two kinds of people in this world - those who finish everything
they start."
