Default Pasta recipe

Hey all - I'm looking for some flavorful new pasta recipes, if anybody
has one. Nothing too cheesy or with heavy creams. I'm trying to go
healthy and light.
Thanks and I look forward to drooling!

Make a stir fry with broccoli, onion, thinly sliced carrots, red and
green pepper, chicken and shrimp. Spice it up with some garlic and
ginger. For the sauce use the usual soy sauce, and chicken broth
thickened with cornstarch and water but add some Hosein sauce. When it's
all cooked, pour some freshly cooked Angel Hair pasta, vermicelli or
spaghettini

You'll find a few that I really like on my recipe page at

http://www.pgacon.com/cooking.htm

I particularly recommend the 2 clam sauce recipes for quick, easy, cheap,
and delicious,

Not knowing what is already in your repertoire, it's hard to say what
will be new. When summer gets to wherever you are, it's hard to go
wrong with pasta primavera for flavorful, healthy and light. Something
along these lines:

In a large skillet, saut=E9 your choice of a medley of vegetables --
a diced zucchini, a diced yellow summer squash, some garlic or
shallots, a bit of sliced onion, maybe some sliced bell pepper, and a
pinch of red chile flakes -- in plenty of your best olive oil until
they are just tender, about 5 minutes. Optionally, at this point add
some seeded, chopped Roma tomatoes. Adjust salt. Drain the spaghetti
or angel hair that you've timed to just reach the al dente stage at
this time and fold it into the skillet. Let it bubble another minute
or two. Serve with plenty of parmesan cheese. Other vegetables to
consider might include broccoli and eggplant. -aem

Check out the Moosewood cookbook. There are several vegetable-based pasta
sauce recipes in it. I especially like one based on caramelized onions with
some red wine and spinach added.

This was in the morning newspaper:

Penne with Olives, Basil & Cheese

1 lb Penne Pasta, cooked as directed
1 bunch Basil, cleaned & roughly chopped
4 TBL olive oil
1/2 Cup Parmsean Cheese, freshly grated
1 cup Kalamata Olives, halved

toss together and enjoy with crusty bread & tossed green salad

Chop a large clove of garlic. Soak in garlic oil it over low, low
heat until it smells so good you can't stand it any more. Add some
halved grape tomatoes and saute until they are just softened. Add
some crab -- real or fake -- and warm it through. Toss with hot
linguini. Add some chopped basil or parsley and toss it some more.
