I'm tired of buying whole packages of fresh herbs and only a small portion.
I usually end up throwing the rest out. What is the best way to preserve them? Can the be Frozen? TIA Terry |

As long as you don't want a "crisp" looking sprig of (for example) basil as a garnish, freezing works fine. A number of people here freeze (chopped, I guess) fresh herbs in ice cube trays so when they need that amount of herbs in a soup or stew they just drop in a cube or two. Jill |
