Default How to store Herbs?

I'm tired of buying whole packages of fresh herbs and only a small portion.
I usually end up throwing the rest out. What is the best way to preserve
them? Can the be Frozen?

TIA

Terry

Yes, they can be frozen. They will lose some texture but retain taste. As
long as you don't want a "crisp" looking sprig of (for example) basil as a
garnish, freezing works fine. A number of people here freeze (chopped, I
guess) fresh herbs in ice cube trays so when they need that amount of herbs
in a soup or stew they just drop in a cube or two.
