Made a lovely tuna casserole last night for my wife (she worked late, so
we ended up having two dinners). Sauteed onions in butter, added (1% Lactaid) milk, thickened it, added it to noodles, peas, tuna, salt, pepper -- you know the drill. Baked at 325 until she came home and it was nice and crisp on the edges and all creamy inside. I haven't had tuna casserole in a long time, and it felt like a bit of self-care. serene, eating it left over for breakfast -- sorry, Michael -- http://serenejournal.livejournal.com http://www.jhuger.com |
