Perhaps because of that "No Referrer", whatever that means.

Cheers, Phred.

Addendum:

In trying to see the above I lost patience and found this (OT in food,
but USENET *is* a computer-based technology after all

or try

but I've never used that facility before, so no guarantees.

I think this is probably the problem for some of us:

<quoting from http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/fun/hagar.asp>
Note: If you're using Norton Internet Security 2005 and cannot see
today's comic strip, please read our special help page. Help is also
available for Norton Internet Security 2004, Norton Personal Firewall
2003 or older versions.

If you're having problems with Zone Alarm Pro, see this page.

If you're having problems with eTrust EZ Firewall, see this page.

Some ad-blocking and privacy-enhancement software may also interfere
with our comic strips.
</quoting>

That is, if you can't see the ads on these pages, you can't see the
content.

Cheers, Phred.

Interesting! I'm currently held hostage by McAffee, which I'll dump
for eTrust (antivirus, not firewall) when the time comes... and I also
use an MVP HOSTS file manager which hasn't keep me from any legitimate
site - to my knowledge.
