Default SAN DIEGO COOK-IN

Only two months until the annual San Diego Cook-In! All are welcome, just
email me to get on the mail list. As always, it looks like it will be
sots....er, lots of fun! Good friends, booze and food! What more could you
want! If you would like to attend but don't feel comfortable cooking
something for us, don't worry! There are lots of ways you can assist. You
can also attend and just contribute your company. Everyone (male or female)
gets a hug and kiss from me! You will also meet some of the bestest and
kindest people who ever posted on this news group.

So, set aside the weekend of June 25th, cash in your air mileage or fill
your gas tank and come down to beautiful Poway (Sandy Eggo) for the event of
the year! Our host for the first few years, Jim Przwara, aka Hippy Jim, will
be able to attend this year (no conflicting beer festivals or blue grass
festivals)!

Hi Frogleg,

I'm not sure where nowhere.com is, but do come on over
if you can. Lots of great food by absolutely fantastic cooks.
Jamie is the best icecream maker in the world, and she is a great
drink mixer. Good fruity taste, oh the drinks, not Jamie. We would
have to ask Brian about that. (her hubby)

I still have tons of cleaning to do... but I have decided
to do the maple scallops again, because they are so easy and
Charliam seemed to like them. Kind of a late B-day gift for
him. On June 4, we had our 22nd anniversary and The 6th
is David's brother's b-day too.

We will be doing photos again. We have them on our website
because I didn't know where to post them.

Enjoy, and come to the cook-in!

Well, I did spend a moment or two flat on the ground after I fell on my ass.
It was a party trick though and had nothing at all to do with the amount of
beer and mixed drinks I had.

I knew that, and in no way did I ever suspect alcohol OR foul play.

I thought everyone there were fine gentle people. Still trying to make
it, but the jury is out. Multiple conflicts, enough so, that if I come,
it will be with beer in hand, not food as cooking time will be non-existent.

Hey, what kind of coffee brewer will be on hand? Drip? Perhaps I can
roast a pound of Kona and bring it. I've some Smith Farms green on hand.

Haa! But of course Jim.

As always, cooking or bringing food isn't important. Bring some beer or wine
if you like. A beer or other drink in hand is of utmost importance.

Drip I think. Coffee is always welcome.
