![]() Some years ago, on PBS a man from Lousiana (sp?) by the title name had a recipe for ribs in a oven bag. I used to have the recipe but have since lost it. I think he used pork but I'm gonna use beef and hopefully someone here has or remembers how he made 'em. If you have made 'em have you tried cooking them in either a microwave or a toaster oven? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Tai |

He said his wife had caught him with another woman. <LOL> He told that story on the air. He brought his "assistant" - a largish-in-parts, gloriously robust woman with stratospheric hair. We got the teeniest bit drunkie on the air. I'm told I had a wonderful time. Pastorio |

The good ol' "lemonade" incident LOL Lynchburg Lemonade, I guess. He was a fun guy. Should have lived to blow his nose over many more a dish as far as I'm concerned. After all, I wasn't eating what he was cooking. <G> Jill |

![]() I suspect you're referring to Justin Wilson, who cooked everything from cows to cornbread in oven bags. I recall he was a devout advocate of white wine in his recipes ....while diverting equal amounts to himself for medicinal purposes. A google search will reveal all. I gar-on-tee it! nb ------------------------------------------------- Thanks for the information. It is interesting about his drinking. I just thought that was part of his character ...like Julia Child. Now Julia , I did think was crocked most of the time. It didn't dawn on me until years later that she might of had a speech problem. I'm still not sure. Who was the little Italian fellow that had a show on either TLC or Discovery Channel that usually made glazed bananas for dessert? I remember a lot of 'em from the old days, including the Galloping Gourmet. I just don't seem to remember their names. My mom learned how to make chinese food from a woman....back in the '50s-'70s,I think. The woman was Chinese. Again Thanks everyone for the information and recipe. Tai |
