Default Wild Oats Markets

So, what's the deal? Are they like a Whole Foods? A new one recently
opened near me, and they have sent me *two* "$10 off $30 purchase"
coupons, which I thought was a great deal. What are some of the "must
trys" from this store? Do they have a natural body care products
section like WF?

Wild Oats owns Henry's here in San Diego. They have a natural body care
section. Perhaps you should make a field trip? Seeing is believing.

They're marketing now?
I always saw them as primary producers: "Sowing wild oats."

Cheers, Phred.

They are very like Whole Foods. Can't comment on 'must trys' as each
region will stock different items. Yes they do sell natural body care
products; mostly the same brands as Whole Foods.
Our local Wild Oats is just about as expensive as Whole Foods, but WF
has a better cheese selection and more seafood.
YMMV

Thanks. Guess I will just plan to spend a major block of time there to
see what they have.

Wild Oats is quite similar to Whole Foods, but I think the former
has slightly higher standards than WF's, which have slipped
throughout the years. (Or maybe I should say my Whole Foods
stores were Bread & Circus stores before they were bought, and
THEY started out with very high standards, which have been almost
totally forgotten as the years have gone by.) Unfortunately, I am
closer to WF and shop there much more than I do at WO, so I have
no good advice for you on specific products.
