I just "invented" this and am rather pleased with the results. I
might expand to other varieties of instant oatmeal packages or other packaged hot cereals, but this is particularly good. You won't find it in the recipes of Quaker or Betty Crocker :> It's a subtle apple thing rather than jammed full of fruit. 1 package Quaker Oatmeal Apple Crisp 1 cup Bisquick 1 egg 2/3 c milk Mix altogether. Let sit for 5-10 min for the oatmeal and apples to hydrate. Cook on griddle, stirring to keep apples evenly distributed. Sue(tm) Lead me not into temptation... I can find it myself! |
