Some people recommend you killfile Sheldon.

He is always a fun read, and sometimes he has some excellent recipes and
ideas as well!

That is so VERY true!
I almost forgot sf because she's not been posting much!

But I communicate with her by private e-mail too.
She passes on some really great humor, and we have similar political

Trying to plan what to make for brunch tomorrow...
One of my experimental greenhouse 'mater vines has a BUNCH of sweet,
wonderful vine ripe fruit at the moment. It was planted last November.

I may blanch and peel them, and make a fresh salad with crab meat or
some such. ;-d

I like to eat them right off the vine personally!

I just wish I knew how to keep the skins from being tough.

Point taken. My DH, who participates in some of the more "technical"
NGs, was telling me that they have "moderators". So if the thread gets
too off the topic and becomes really abusive, they junk it before it
gets out there. I know people are going to remind me about freedom of
speech and all that, and tell me that I don't have to read it etc., but
I think, in some cases it's a good idea. Take Sheldon, if you must:
more often than not he comes up with great ideas and he really has a
sharp sense of humor. So I usually read his posts....and have to put up
with the consequences..

I've never had alligator, snake, or frog legs, and don't want to. Is the
alligator a reptilian and the snakes and frog legs amphibians?

They're all three reptiles. The frog and alligator are also amphibian,
some snakes are amphibian as well.

Sorry, different lingo, I guess. A small-holding is around the 10ha
mark. I think if it goes above that, they call it a "farm"....
But no kidding, we did have cows (or bulls to be exact in our back yard)
I have a pic somewhere... When we moved in, the fencing was not great,
so we had a new electric fence installed. While they were busy putting
it up, the bulls coudn't resist all the long grass on our side and just
pushed thru the fence (before it was electrified). Once the fence was up
and running, they became very wary of it. Who says cattle are stupid?

Somebody told me the difference between alligators and crocs was that

I only tried it on a dare - but gator was actually really good. It's
just way too expensive for something that tastes like a lot of other,
cheaper meat to me. I've never tried rattlesnake, though, and I hear
that's pretty good too.
