Default OT - The RFC Cabal (TINC)

From www.webster.com :

Main Entry: 1ca·bal
Pronunciation: k&-'bäl, -'bal
Function: noun
Etymology: French cabale cabala, intrigue, cabal, from Medieval Latin
cabbala cabala, from Late Hebrew qabbAlAh, literally, received (lore):

the artifices and intrigues of a group of persons secretly united to bring
about an overturn or usurpation especially in public affairs;

also : a group engaged in such artifices and intrigues

synonym see PLOT

This sounds mysterious and somewhat dangerous. How can I sign up?

You've been here long enough to qualify. Get your j/lnghlm. Maybe
you and Dams can order a case together for dues-paying.

I've been in the presence of Brian Mailman and Ray Bruman while they
discussed the Cabal, sometime back in the 90s, so I think I am already
on the list. And if I'm not, well, your list is maybe not the *real*
list, kept by the *actual* members of The Cabal.

Aha! Finally, someone confesses to being a member of the Cabal!

Okay, now what do we do?

Oh well, if the rule is that you don't admit to being a member of the
Cabal, then by claiming membership, I must therefore not Really be a
member of the Cabal! I'm just a wannabe, I guess.

Further perversity: I really don't think I'm a trollop. Sorry. I just
never wanted to be one.

I suspected you were a fraud, but I didn't want to make wild accusations.

The secret handshake gave it away. People who are not members of the
Cabal are offered an unwashed "raw chicken hands" handshake.

You're not allowed to know that either. That's the beautiful part of
it. Only an accuser can hint at it, then it must be denied.

BTW, FYI AFAIK TINC.

You mean I'm head trollop AND president of the cabal? "I'd like to thank
my parents, who as a sick joke to society brought me into this world, and
my Crashman for putting up with me on a day-to-day basis ......"
