Default Paella pan?

I have an enamel covered pan (including the bottom) with two stubby handles
on each side. It's shallow, probably about 3 inches deep at the most. Is
this a paella dish? Can I use it on the stove-top (gas), or is it really
for baking?

It could be. How wide is it? A paella pan would be14 inches at least I
believe. Whether you can use it on the stove top or just for baking depends
on what it is made of.
