![]() Hi All, Has anyone tried these? They are like tiny ice cubes and frozen in tiny portions of about a teaspoon each. I have a friend who swears by these. I would probably use the basil as I always waste so much of a fresh bunch. Have a wonderful holiday weekend and remember our fallen service men, Ellie |

It was ok for adding a leaf here and there to a salad or whatever, but it didn't continue growing enough to get another leaf for use. I bought it because it was fresher and cheaper than my regular grocery store where they are in cellophane packages for $2.99 where they're not that fresh all the time. For some reason, I'm not a big fan of TJ like a lot of people seem to be -- but then I may be missing something, like I was told the Fairfax VA has a basement of wine that I did not even know about. I've only been to two/three Trader-Joe's (in CT and elsewhere) but it seems sooo crowded and then there's row upon row of boxed/jarred food and the produce didn't seem as good as Whole Foods in Vienna, VA. I might add that even at 2 Wegman's, I found it lacking in comparison to Whole Foods. An example, I love honey, the brand of which I have learned to like at Whole Foods and they have replaced it with a brand that I like less. I looked at Wegman's and Trader Joe's; I felt like I could do as well at A&P & Kroger. Ended up internet ordering my honey -- thank heavens for the internet in such cases. Dee |

I bought a small potted basil plant (also at Wegmans; they had several different herbs) and re-planted it in a larger pot for my apartment. I'm usually awful with plants, but this has has survived and continuously sprouted new leaves. I typically have no more than half a dozen or so big leaves at any given time, but it's been worth it. -T |
