Any plans for one of these on the east coast (US)?

We haven't had one in the Northeast for a couple of years.

You are welcome to travel to beautiful San Diego and enjoy the food, booze
and debauchery at our Cook-In. Always the best! Sandy Eggo is connected to
the world now by car, bus, train, air and other methods of transport. We
often have attendees from other states including those from the East Coast.

Mine was on January 11, 1997. The one on the Upper West Side was August 2,
1997.

Speaking of Jack Schidt, has anyone heard from him lately? I haven't
seen a posting on RFC from Jack in quite some time. I have reduced my
newsgroup reading a lot lately, so perhaps I just have not gotten to any
of recent articles he may have posted.

As far as a northeast cook-in this summer is concerned, I cannot host
one, but I would be glad to attend one if my schedule permits.

Charlie, you keep inviting people to this shindig and you and the DH
are gonna have to share your beer <veg>

Alive and well and posting on alt.binaries.food on a fairly regular basis.

Hi Maxine,

It seems that I had two. My first was September 28, 1996. The same date as
one in LA.

Yep, you're right, I started telling people I was going to have it in 2001.
I just checked the archives.

Egad woman! What a thought! Bill, Brian and I usually bring enough to share.
Truth be known, I usually help myself to Bill's and Brian's beer as it is
better than what I usually bring. If we run out I say let them drink
margaritas and other mixed drinks.....or they can drink the Barto's wine!
Too bad Christine can't attend this year and bring her lemoncello.

You folks in N.M. need to try to meet Christine. She is not only a lovely
person but one of the best cooks I have ever met!

Hi Charlie, Christine!

I second that! We had a teeny, tiny Cook-In in Phoenix last fall &
Christine kept us entertained with her vast knowledge of cooking,
among other things.

Which reminds me, I still owe Christine a cake recipe. I'll search for
it. I lost all the data files on my computer recently, so hopefully
that recipe is also in a cookbook or magazine.

Wish I could attend the Cook-in, but once again have other
committments. I'm sure you'll have a blast.

in NM.
