The last one, I think was the one at Jack Schidt's house in CT--that was in
2002.

Wait a sec--was the one at Siobhan's house after August 24, 2002 or
before??? Hers may have been after. I'm not sure now. I know I didn't go
to that one, but I do believe that was the last one, now that I think of it.

Well, anyway, Sue is right, the last one was either in August or Fall of
2002.

Mine was in October 2001.

Actually, I'm going to be having a huge BBQ sorta thing at my house July
23rd. My Dad's coming up from Florida and it's going to be a sort of house
warming open house BBQ thing for the people who couldn't make it to my
house warming in December 'cos it was snowing.

I was gonna invite people from here if they wanted to pop by. I have
that neato new house with the neato new kitchen.

Actually it was in Oct. 2002. Oct. 2001 was the first time
I went to VT and I stayed with my sister and bil in their
timeshare. The following year, 2002, was the CT cook-in at
Jack's in August and then your cook-in in October and it was
my second trip to VT.

1997.

See, that's how I remembered it. I remembered that you and Jack Schidt went
to Siobhan's, and I kinda thought it was after the one he hosted.

But I wasn't gonna argue with the lady--it was her party and I wasn't even
there!!!! :-)

Speaking of Jack Schidt, has anyone heard from him lately? I haven't
seen a posting on RFC from Jack in quite some time. I have reduced my
newsgroup reading a lot lately, so perhaps I just have not gotten to any
of recent articles he may have posted.

As far as a northeast cook-in this summer is concerned, I cannot host
one, but I would be glad to attend one if my schedule permits.

Egad woman! What a thought! Bill, Brian and I usually bring enough to share.
Truth be known, I usually help myself to Bill's and Brian's beer as it is
better than what I usually bring. If we run out I say let them drink
margaritas and other mixed drinks.....or they can drink the Barto's wine!

Hi Charlie, Christine!

I second that! We had a teeny, tiny Cook-In in Phoenix last fall &
Christine kept us entertained with her vast knowledge of cooking,
among other things.

Which reminds me, I still owe Christine a cake recipe. I'll search for
it. I lost all the data files on my computer recently, so hopefully
that recipe is also in a cookbook or magazine.


Wish I could attend the Cook-in, but once again have other
committments. I'm sure you'll have a blast.
