Terry, I'm nowhere near as far from Phoenix as Douglas. We live in Apache
Junction, and before that, in Queen Creek. We not Arizona natives, though,
as we moved here from NE Ohio. I always say SE of Phoenix because if I just
say Phoenix, people seem to think I live in the city.

And they don't mess up orders, don't give away free food to their
buddies and don't damage produce. I'd much rather scan and bag my
groceries myself - especially when the other check-out lines are long.
Pople seem to be afraid of the U-scan lines. But I only do it at
stores where I know the prices scan correctly most of the time.
