Default Where is the best place to shop for a barbecue kettle in Australia?

Well - I know the title of this post looks rather awkward but I hope
you know what I mean. I've been lurking around here for years, I'm
hoping that I can get someone from Australia in here who knows about
barbecuing.

The reason is that while I'm in UK, one of my colleagues is moving
"Down South". The bunch of us gathered together some money to get him
some farewell gift and I've come up with a idea that we get him some
vouchers at a homeware store where he can get himself a barbecuing
kettle, a grill, whatever, as he loves barbecue.

So does anyone of you in here know anything about buying barbecuing
kettle in Australia? Where is the best place to get them, online or
offline? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!!!!!

Ada

G'day all the way from Queensland!
One of the better places to shop for barbies is Barbeques Galore. You
can go to their website barbequesgalore.com.au and purchase an e-gift
voucher. They are a reputable company and have a big range = they also
have a sale on so that's even better!

Cheers

Just thinking, this is the best time to buy as winter is just hitting
with avengence in the southern states. Not so bad in Qld, but cold
today at 18deg.C for us!
Is the weather kind today in the UK mid-summer? Wimbledon just
starting, strawberries and cream. Off topic - but good on you for
beating the aussies at cricket. It was all getting a bit boring before
this week!!

Thanks again for the tip about the shop and the weather. My colleague
is moving to Melbourne - I have no idea how's the weather is like over
there. Yes it's really getting into the Wimbledon season - few weeks
ago I saw a lady in her 50s, white hair tied up in a bun, white blouse,
flowery skirt and sandals, and I know the British summer has finally
arrived!! No idea why but whenever I see women dressed like that I
think of Wimbledon. I live in Aberdeen, Scotland - for us 18 deg C is
warm! Last year I remember looking at the weather map of UK,
everywhere else is blazing at 35 deg C but Aberdeen remains 20 deg C.
The days have been shifting getting longer and longer and I can't sleep
properly becoz the birds are chirping all day long...

Thanks for seconding Bronwyn's recommendation. I have bought the
e-voucher now and just waiting for it to be processed. Hopefully it'll
be delivered by email by tomorrow as the departing guy is going to be
departing tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who answered! :-)))
