Two little old ladies were attending a rather long church service. One
leaned over and whispered, "My butt is going to sleep."

"I know," replied her companion, "I heard it snore three times. "

Here's the one I did for my niece's graduation bbq. People asked for
the recipe so I guess that means they liked them

2 - 16 oz cans of beans of choice (I used white beans) drained and rinsed
2 - 16 oz cans of bbq beans (choose the veggie kind for a no meat version
1 medium onion chopped
1/4 C ketchup
1/4 C vinegar
1 T mustard
1 t worchestershire sauce
1/2 t salt

Stir together and either bake until bubbly or I poured it all into a
crock pot and set it on low for a couple of hours.

For the meat eaters, cook 4 slices of bacon, chop into pieces and stir
into bean mixture before cooking

can of bush's vegetarian beans, add ketchup, brown sugar, tad of
mustard, (sometimes I add a bit of steak sauce), red pepper slices and
large chopped pieces of vandalia onion. cook at 350 for about 45 min.
to 1 hours. I've made them for years and even though they're no big
whoop, everyone loves them.

Use any recipe for baked beans you find on the Net and....... leave out
the meat if there is any specified.

I like to use Bush's Vegetarian Baked Beans and "doctor" them up a bit.
Sweat green onions, celery, bell peppers, and garlic in a little olive
oil. Pour liquid from beans into this mixture and cook until hot, add
beans, a little worchestershire sauce, and a little crushed pineapple in
its own juice or any other sweet thing you want (brown sugar, maple
syrup) and heat through but do not let cook too long -- the beans will get
mushy. Take off the heat, cover, and let them sit for a while for flavors
to come together. They don't need to be served hot, room temp is just as
good.

Best to drain the pineapple juice or the beans concoction will be too
watery.
