Default How to store

How would I store a container of cookies..(the unbaked kind made with
chocolate, oats, nuts, coconut etc.) I have to keep them fresh until
this Sunday for our library's bake sale. They were delivered to me
today to keep safe until the sale....Do I put them in the freezer or the
fridge?
Thanks....Sharon

Do you mean cookie dough? If this is the case, I'd wrap the dough
tightly in plastic wrap, put them in air tight containers and put them
in the refrigerator.

Sounds like you're talking not about dough, but about the kind of cookie
where the dry ingredients are mixed w/ melted chocolate, and then
dollopped into cookies, which are allowed to solidify. I don't know...I
would think that either refrigerating or freezing them would work. Did
the person who made them (the "unbaker"?) have a suggestion? That
person may make the recipe regularly and have an idea as to the best way
of storing them.

LOl...no...I wish she had..she just dropped them on my desk and
dashed away saying she was late. She's out of town for the sale and I
offered to keep them safe until then.....I've got them in the fridge.
Yes, they are the kind that are mixed, dropped, allowed to solidify.
Thanks....Sharon

Are these things supposed to be baked before the bake sale?

No, they are not to be baked. They are dropped onto wax paper and
let harden. ...Sharon

Keeping the cookies in your refrigerator and well wrapped should be fine
for a few days.
