Where are you, Lynne? It's supposed to be 105 here today, was 106
yesterday. Not a record, but still bloody hot!

Depends upon "where" in California :-) Down south, pretty much any
time of year is nice (San Diego, etc.) If you can stomach L.A., the
weather's nice there too. Central Valley north to about Chico, temps
in winter are very mild, rarely below freezing, and never much below!
Late winter and early spring are usually lovely. Let us know when
you're coming, we'll roll out the red carpet :-)

Most than a red carpet I need a refrigerate carpet )))
Thank you for inviting me. If you want to come here I secure a *green*
carpet! because here there are many trees and also a little river called
"Stura" ))))

If you're next to the ocean, that is. My mother lived in Ramona for
30 years and let me tell you - it got steenkin' hot there in the
summer time, cold in the winter... like Sacramento but without the
moderating breezes off the rivers (more like Vacaville, now that I
think about it),

We were at a park in San Rafael today (next to the Bay)... I didn't
even think about the temperature because it was absolutely perfect
outdoor weather - so it must have been in the mid to low 80s.
However, not even an hour away it was 105 in the Vacaville/Fairfield
area.

Our Fall is nice too.

Had a feeling you wouldn't like it, I sure didn't! However, today it's
lovely and cooler-supposed to be 81F, and is in the 60's right now. As far
as the cold showers, I had 2 yesterday<GG>

I'm in South Dakota, Tammy-in the Black Hills. The weather here is nuts,
year long! It was at LEAST the predicted 104 yesterday, my thermometer read
quite a bit higher. But today, it's absolutely gorgeous-high of 81 and
soooo much nicer! Not going to last though, so we'll be climbing back up to
the 90's that are typical here in July and August. If I had realized how
bloody hot the summers are here, I might have ended up somewhere else<G>

IMHO It's the same thing because when I take a long cold shower in the
summer (when out there is 40C) I go out of the shower and I feel the same:
hot ))
Cheers from
Pandora who came out just now from the 7th shower of the day!

A cold shower will force your body to up the heat. You're better
off with a lukewarm shower.
