Default Food today and tomorrow

Today was a junky-food day -- sausage/potato skillet, mac and cheese,
skittles, tuna sandwich -- nothing spectacular or even vaguely healthy
(oh, wait, there was the fresh squash out of our neighbor's garden,
which I threw into the skillet).

But tomorrow should be fun. I have flanken-cut (that's the word,
right?) ribs marinating in soy, sugar, and water (my brother's
mother-in-law's recipe, a family fave) and they'll go on the grill.
Making rice to go with. Bought kim chee. Will put out a salad bar. And
Wayne's cheesecake is in the oven. Should be yummy.

The ribs sounds delicious! Recipe? Good luck with the cheesecake!

1 part sugar, 1 part water, 1 part regular soy sauce. Marinate for 24-48
hours. It really only works outside on the grill, but it's edible if you
broil it in the oven.

I think the cheesecake isn't gonna be my favorite dessert ever, but I
messed up at a few stages. Have I mentioned I'm not a very good baker?
