Default Weekly grocery budget: 42 cents

Thanks to the heat (highs around 90F are hot for the Twin Cities), my
appetite diminished. And the relative cool spell didn't bring it back
all the way. For example, I've been eating one egg instead of two most
of the time.

And I had a good deal of food on hand.

I would've spent more if I wasn't broke, of course.

Note: Meeting someone in a restaurant did mean spending more money
than that. I had hot tea. (The restaurant was Dulono's Pizza. As
might be obvious from the name, it's best known in the Twin Cities as a
place for bluegrass music.)
