Default Favorite Sopranos desert name???

In the Sopranos on HBO, they are always referring to a pastry that they
pronounce "schweeadell".
Does anyone know what they are referring to?

Pronounced sfoolyadell. Isn't that the shell shaped
pastry? I think the word is even Italian for shell.
A little dry for my taste, but then I'm not much for
Italian desserts. (my ex's family ate them for
breakfast, same way people would eat donuts ...
someone would stop and the bakery and get an
assortment of Italian pastries)
