Default NYC Foodies

The DH and I are again traveling to NYC on August 17th, returning on
the 22nd. He has a legal seminar in Manhattan to attend and I am
taking a few days off work to accompany him and visit two of our kids
(and 1 spouse) who live in NYC. I will be at loose ends on Thursday
and wonder if any RFCers would like to meet for a bite as we did at
Katz' Deli a couple of years ago or show me the foodie haunts or just
meet and visit.

BTW, for those of you who met at Katz' Deli, that has to have been
aboutely the most wonderful pastrami on rye I have ever had in my
life. Have a local deli, Jerry's near South Coast Plaza in SoCal, that
does a credible job, but *nothing* can compete with Katz'. (No
hinting, jus the truth, ma'am.)

Me me me! That is, if I'm in town. Unfortunately, my schedule is up
in the air. I might owe you a drink by then anyway, hopefully not

We do? Some of us aren't anywhere near NYC, otherwise I'd love to. If
for nothing else, to toss a coffee ice cream pie in Terry's general
direction LOL

Good Morning, Terry, I may be able to join you for your NYC lunch.
Please, tell me again when and where it will be, who will be there and
such things as the dress code.

Thank you! MS

If you ever get up to L.A., Langer's Deli has far better pastrami than
any of the Jerry's locations, imho. -aem
