At the time, I used the plates from the frozen dinners. Now I have
some 2-cup glass containers I got at Crate&Barrel, or pyrex that have
plastic freezer to microwave covers.

Check the dollar stores for microwave platters with covers. But I
found that adding a tight layer of plastic wrap under the cover,
removed before nuking, helped avoid freezer burn.

You should never freeze anything in glass, an extremely dangerous
practice. Solo makes sturdy compartmentalized plastic dinner plates,
they go from freezer to nuker... fairly inexpensive and can even go in
the dishasher and be reused.
