Default 30% off everything at Winn Dixie

Winn Dixie grocery stores are going out of business. My local store
has everything on sale for 30% off. I stocked up on baby food and
cleaning supplies plus I bought a big bag of Iams cat food. I should
go back for some pantry and freezer staples.

We went there yesterday and got nothing. Everything was a *little* cheaper,
but nothing that you couldn't get at another store for better. We walked
out empty handed.

I looked at cereal, but it was not cheap enough after the discount to
justify stocking up. I find great deals on cereal at Big Lots.

I imagine some prices were raised prior to the sale. It really does
benefit the shopper to have an idea of regular and sale prices around
town.

<snip>

Some Winn Dixie stores will no longer be WD stores. Their chapter 11
plan calls for selling something like 350 stores out of about 1000 to
1100. Some operate under different names. Winn Dixie, the company, (as
oposed to individual stores) may go out of business in the future, but
that's not currently the plan.
