I have several casted aluminum skillets that I treat as if they are cast
iron. My cleaning method is a bit different as taught to me by an old Okie drover. I scrape out any excess food, fill 2/3 with water and put back on stove to a high boil for a few minutes. Dump water out and use soaked greenie to scrape out any particles. Rinse with hot water and put upside on stove. When cool I wipe down with a few drops of oil and put away. -Ron |
