Default Coming this saturday on Semi-Homade: Bachelor BBQ

http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show..._38721,00.html

From the Food Network web site:

Bachelor BBQ

In this episode Sandra Lee is man's best friend
because she's bringing the best of Semi-Homemade
barbecue to the bachelor pad. Dishes like Grilled
Jalepeno Poppers, Hot Legs with Tabasco-Ranch Sauce,
Teriyaki-Beer Skirt Steak, a Beer Ball Buffet, Red
Light Shooter and a Ball and Chain Martini make
up this grill-lover's menu.

"Beer ball buffet"? "Red light Shooter"? "Ball and Chain Martini"?
Yeah, this should be endearing to bachelors everywhere because those
unmarried boys just love their prostitutes as much as they hate the
idea of a wife.

where she grew up either. The Cordon Bleu disavows any knowlege of Miss Lee.

I missed the making of the jalapeno poppers and I don't see the
recipe on the web site. What were they?

Japanenos, slit on one side with the seeds scooped out, stuffed with grated
cheese (from a packet, natch), wrapped in half a rasher of bacon, and
grilled about a minute per side.

They looked OK, although the ones she made seemed to have a much higher
tendency to fall apart and leak than the carefully-dressed ones on the final
tablescape.

(The beer buffet, on the other hand... ick.)
