What to serve with grilled pizza????
Why, grilled beer, of course! Duh. Kate -- Kate Connally “If I were as old as I feel, I’d be dead already.” Goldfish: “The wholesome snack that smiles back, Until you bite their heads off.” What if the hokey pokey really *is* what it's all about? |

Charlie Gitto's was a favorite of Tommy Lasorda, he'd eat there when the Dodgers were in town. There's a tale of Tommy consuming an enormous pasta dinner at Charlie's, then going out to pitch batting practice prior to a mid-summer game (oh the heat) at Busch stadium. It was reported later that he "didn't feel well." Brian Rodenborn |

It's become somewhat popular for food critics here to bash this hometown creation, but done well toasted ravioli is very tasty. Like any fried food, it's possible to end up with a greasy or chewy product. Brian Rodenborn |

Hark! I heard Dog3 <dognospam@adjfkdla;not> say:
<snip> > We have it here also. Some of the wings are God awful though. At the risk > of starting a wing war, I'll say Domino's Pizza has about the worst wings > I've ever tasted. Another thing I've never tried, so I guess I'm not sorry. ;-) Here's a recipe for some good wings -- they're not really Buffalo style, but they're good dipped in ranch dressing (any wonder I had to go on a diet?): Ranch Buffalo Wings 12 chicken wings, cut into two sections 1 ounce Original Ranch dressing mix 1/2 C. melted butter or margarine 1 T. white vinegar 6 T. Crystal Louisiana Hot Pepper sauce 2 eggs, slightly beaten Flour Cooking Oil or Shortening Preheat oven to 350ş F. Melt butter over low heat, add dressing mix, vinegar, and hot sauce, mixing well. Dip wings in egg, then dredge in flour. Brown in oil over medium heat, then transfer to 13" X 9" baking pan. Brush both sides of each wing with sauce, bake for 50-60 minutes. Dip in prepared Ranch dressing. Makes 24 wing sections. You can adjust the Pepper sauce to suit your own "heat" needs... -- J.J. in WA (Change COLD to HOT for e-mail) ~ mom, vid gamer, novice cook ~ ...fish heads, fish heads, eat them up, yum! |

Here on the Left Coast, you're stuck with frozen or nothing. I haven't decided which is worse... ;-) -- J.J. in WA (Change COLD to HOT for e-mail) ~ mom, vid gamer, novice cook ~ ...fish heads, fish heads, eat them up, yum! |
