I just received news that my mom's sister, Jackie, is in a hospice program.
The two forms of cancer she's been fighting appear to be winning. Here is
one of her recipes.

Jackie's Jello Salad

-----JELLO LAYER-----
2 Black cherry jello
2 c Boiling water
1 cn Wilderness cherry pie filling
-----CHEESE LAYER-----
12 lg Marshmallows
3 oz Cream cheese
1 c Cool Whip

Combine jello and boiling water; add pie filling. Pour into 7x11 or
9-inch
square pan. Chill until firm, making sure cherries are evenly
distributed
as the jello sets.

Melt marshmallows and cream cheese together over low heat. Cool and fold
into Cool Whip.

Frost jello layer.
