Hey there - forgot your name/handle, sorry, but I looked at my bottles and
got the importers. The stupid hot extract based stuff like the ones you mentioned, were imported by 'Hot Headz', no address but a phone # - 01453 731 052. These the same folk? The really good ones, the brand is 'Pain is Good!' - they make several kinds, all great IMNSHO. Imported by Skylark Trading ltd. London SW5 0JQ. Might help you to find some very nice sauces, different heat levels and flavour styles. Good luck! Shaun aRe |

Hello Shaun
Yes, 'Hot Headz' was company where I saw the hot extract based stuff . I looked up Skylark Trading Ltd, but there website is currently under construction (www.skylarktrading.com/). However, I also looked up 'Pain is Good' and found that it is made by a company called 'Original Juan Speciality Foods' (http://www.originaljuan.com/). Do you know what batch number the one you tried was? Also, as per another poster recommendation, Marie Sharp's sauces seem to be pretty good also (although I haven't had much time to look into them properly) and I will also have to try them out (http://tinyurl.com/abkaj). DAMNIT! I'd already finished my (longer!) reply then OE crashed on me... grrrr.... Anyway, from looking at the site I can now remember 3 although I'm sure there were at least 4. Mine came in a basket selection but different to the one they show now. Had batch 218 Louisiana style sauce, batch 37 Garlic style sauce, batch 114 Jamaica style sauce - all were EXCELLENT, some of the best flavoured I've tried. I'm guessing all from that grouping will be very nice, and not extract based like in one of the other sections. Hope you enjoy if you manage to get some! ',;~}~ Shaun aRe |
