From the Food Network web site:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show..._38719,00.html Almonds It's one of the most heart-healthy nuts out there, and it's the featured ingredient in all the dishes in this episode - the almond. It's also a delicious compliment to just about any dish, so check out the amazing recipes for Sole Almondine, Mushroom Almond Pilaf, Phylly-Wrapped Brie with Almonds, Almond Baklava, and the most amazing Amaretto Stinger. As a matter of fair disclosure, it must be noted that SLop is the spokesman for the Almond Council. -- WARNING!!! Use of these recipes may be hazardous to your health, food budget, standing in your community and liver function. Use at your own risk!! We assume no liability from any illness or injury sustained while eating the "food" or being exposed to crapass tablescapes. And no, we're not sure where she grew up either. The Cordon Bleu disavows any knowlege of Miss Lee. |

I wonder if she'll disclose that on the show. I never knew the Almond Council had a spokesman. Heck, I never knew there was an Almond Council. -rah |

Well no, because you've mentioned repeatedly that she is the spokesman for the Almond Council. I've never heard her say it, though (nor have I seen her on Almond Council commercials, if there are any). -rah |

For the last time, Lame-o: NOBODY doesn't like Sara Lee! <and if bullshit walks, what's holding you down?> |

If we're looking for examples of Fame Abuse, SLop can't hold Bob Vila's
jockstrap. He was allegedly paid off by all sorts of home improvement companies while his show was on PBS, allegedly made a fortune on commercial endorsements, and allegedly fixed up homes he had a financial interest in so he could reap the profits. Finally PBS allegedly decided he'd gone too far, and they allegedly kicked him to the curb. |

Isn't it a BAD idea to give rambunctious kids sharp pointy skewers, even with shrimp on them? I don't think the champagne in the vinagrette will be enough to subdue those boys, but those floats will do the trick. That said, I hope she wears a ballcap (if not a catcher's mask) and moves the party to the backyardscape. Something will be a "home run" or "out of the park," she'll mock-swing a bat (or skewer) at something and whoot "three points!", and for their sakes, I truly hope there are no children involved. |

Baseball Tailgate Sandra Lee is going to hit a Grand Slam on today's episode because she's creating a Kid's [sic] Baseball Tailgate. So, grab you ball and your bat and line up for these amazing dishes: Grilled Shrimp Skewers Marinated in an Orange-Champagne Vinaigrette, Cheesesteak Subs, Very Berry Cream Cups and a Drunken Float Other than begging the question "Who the hell throws tailgatew parties at a baseball game?" and "Is this tailgate for Brycer?", it also begs the question "what child would eat this stuff?", especially the floats which are made with three shots of vanilla vodka with root beer and ice cream. -- WARNING!!! Use of these recipes may be hazardous to your health, food budget, standing in your community and liver function. Use at your own risk!!
